Micheal Deyes, a co-founder of Money Tree. I expected that there will be many sentences mention about Money Tree or Maybank (the main sponsor of Money Tree) yet, there are not. The talk really amuse and amaze me!!!
He told a true story of himself:
When he is going for his honeymoon, there is some problem counter to his business. His flight suppose to be at 9:30am but delay to 11:30am. That is a weird day that he didn't switch off his phone in the boarding room as usual. His partner called him up and said that there is a shortage of the cash for the business, the bank manager refuse to do anything except they bank in the CASH of 26,000 into that particular bank within 45minutes. It is a critical moment that if he couldn't make it, then they will lose of almost 100,000 of business.
He said that it is impossible to be happened because he had triple check the account and the cash should be enough for them to get a credit cheque. Well, the partner said that he had misstated the correct amount because there were some bills he haven't count in.
A critical time that, he was in KLIA boarding room with his just married wife. If you going to leave and settle all your thing, your wife will leave you. Even if you go settle it by taking cash from a bank to that particular bank, you may not make it because you are run out of time.
He told the partner that he will solve this. He says to himself, this is a problem God gave him, so he will find a people of Him to help him to solve the problem.
So, he run through all the name of his church people in the phone. And finally he found a person called Martin, who is really really a good man. Martin is a retire soldier if not wrong.
He called him and ask him if he can do him a favour?
Martin say yes before Micheal told him the problem counter on.
After Micheal said the problem, and he said that he will pay him back after he came back from honeymoon. Martin stunned for a 5 second and he say YES!!
